Research Group
What is the ConnectEd Cymru Research Group?
ConnectEd Cymru Research Group is a peer-to-peer discussion group focused on bringing research into the classroom. Our common goal is to support early career teachers who work in schools with high levels of deprivation with a view to reducing educational inequality.
Who is it for?
The Research Group is designed for early career teachers - we define this as <5 years experience - particularly those working in schools with high levels of deprivation or with a commitment to closing the attainment gap.
What do we do?
The Research Group provides opportunities for members to:
Share ideas from their own practice and draw on the experiences of others
Discuss interesting reading and engage with research
Offer and benefit from peer-to-peer support and advice
Celebrate successes they have had in their own classroom practice
Collaborate to solve common problems through research-informed inquiry
